Welcome

On July 27th I will be starting my Pilgrimage of Hope walking from Chepstow, UK to Rome, Italy.

This is approximately 2000miles. I will not be taking any money to sustain myself and will be travelling very light. I intend to rely solely on the kindness of the people I meet along the way. This is a Pilgrimage of Hope and in order to live out this hope for a better and more just world we need to learn to trust in the goodness of others. I hope you will follow my journey of pilgrimage along the way via this website YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

I will be publishing my route so if you know anyone living along my path who might like to give me a place to sleep and some food, please reach out and let me know.

Peace and Every Blessing

  • In many instances we will be stepping out on nothing, hoping to land on something....This hope is not the same as optimism. Optimism adopts the role of the spectator who surveys the evidence in order to infer that things are going to get better. Yet we know that the evidence does not look good....Only a new wave of vision, courage, and hope can keep us sane— and preserve the decency and dignity requisite to revitalize our organizational energy for the work to be done. To live is to wrestle with despair yet never to allow despair to have the last word.

  • I really only love God as much as I love the person I love the least.

Why am I doing this?

Do you know anyone on my route who can help me on my journey?
